I put a chat box on my MySpace a second ago, and I decided that I didn't want it because it's making the screen too wide. (I don't like side-scrolling. -_-) So I deleted the code for it, but it still shows up! How do I get rid of it?

You can`t delete the person. The reason you cannot see the extra person(s) that are on your list is because that person(s) deleted their myspace before the removed them self off your buddy list before they deactivated their account. did you try myspace tech group? Make sure you change your password. I had my background changing all of the time. It was because I had got a background from a site that had me enter my email and password and it put the background on automatically. Then I had problems, my friends would get that crap about tracking whose looking at your profile and junk from me, even though i didnt send it. Im not sure why u cant erase yours though....

ok go to the comment and have it showing on your screen.

1) click the "prt scrn" (print screen) button on your keyboard.

2) go on paint, click edit, then paste.

3) then crop the comment with the cropping tool.

4) copy the cropped part and open a new paint window.

5) paste that copied part onto the new paint window

6) save it

7) upload it on photobucket/flickr/anything that uploads pictures.

8) then post it on your myspace!

i tried making my instructions as easy as i could.

Hey i have a problem with my myspace i'm not sure if it's a virus but when ever i paste my layout code it doesn't work for the default layouts it shows up in the preview. But when i view my profile it's all grey i don't know what to do? And for regular layouts it doesn't show right like how the layout is suppose to look i know it is suppose to look different in the preview but when i view my profile it never shows up right looks totally different. Please help me i deleted my comments that had viruses in it and i deleted all my messages i still don't know what's wrong with it?

sometimes the layouts are the ones that have the viruses in them. the reason that your layout is only working in your preview and not in yuor actual profile may be bacause the layout code is no good.. try searching the layout code for any unusual codes that are within it. sorry if that doesnt help you :o)

I had this same problem.

What you want to do, is make sure that when you're copying and pasting the code, you put it into the right AREA. Not every code is supposed to be pasted into your "About Me" section. Some codes require that you paste them into the "Who I'd Like To Meet", or somewhere in your interests section. Most sites that offer the codes will say somewhere above the code where you need to paste it.

It could be that you failed to erase the code for your previous layout.

If you used the myspace profile editer, you will have to go to it and click on "Clear" and then on "save" and then try again.

okay so i just got a new layout for my myspace, but i wanted it to look a but more like this one:

see how there is no "about me" or "who i want to meet" sections, but there are like still words there

so i found a code that deletes your "blurbs" (about me and who i want to meet sections) but then when i tried to type stuff in there, it didn't show up because those sections aren't there.

i mean i can remove the codes +then it will show up, but so do the words "about me" and "who i want to meet"

so can somebody give me a code that would make it be like the profile in the pic, like still being able to type there but not having the words "about me" and "who i want to meet"

I created a myspace page in december of 06 because my fiance created one when we were broken up and when we got back together he told me about his so then I made one. when I had one I caught up with some friends I hadn't talked to in a long time, but I never had more than 30 friends on there and no one hardly left me comments. My fiance and I broke up again and he blocked me from sending him messages to his page or anything so I just decided to delete my page a few months ago. I still love him and wish he would come back to me and he knows that, but he won't speak to me. My question is, is it better for me to have the myspace page so that he can look me up if he wants to and see my status/see how i'm doing, or is it better for him to look me up and to not be able to find me and wonder where i am and how i'm doing?? AH That happens a lot to me also. It happens because of the little link it has so people know where to go to find your profile or more. You can go to edit profile, and delete all of the links

You either used a pre-made layout that has that code embeded, or you accidentally stuck a pimp my space code in the wrong place. Try editing your profile in safe mode.

if you look at the top right-side of the page you'll see "Sign Out". this means that you are logged in but the server isn't saying you are.

okay well.

before on my myspace

whenever someone clicked on my pictures link on my profile, it would bring them to ALLL of my photos. no albums or anything! i liked it like that, now whenever someone clicks on my photo link on my profile they have to click on the album and then it takes them the all of my photos..

Someone got into my myspace and changed the password last week. They posted some pics of me mixed in with some horrible ones of someone else from behind in underwear and stuff. Then they posted all of this mean crap and made the profile public. They also put my home address on the page and the fact that I have 2 kids.

I wrote myspace and did all the necessary stuff last week and they still haven't taken it down. I can't get back into it to delete it because I don't know the password and don't have access to the email account the password goes to (they hacked it too).

Is there a # for myspace that I can call? What should I do? I'm pretty sure I know who did this but it's not like I have proof.

I just want to remove the profile and get on with my life.

Contact the police who can tell you how to contact the appropriate agency or agencies. THEN file a complaint.

If the person is not showing on your friends list this means that they have not accepted your friend request.

I cannot log-in to my myspace account. Everytime I type in my password it says "You Must Be Logged In To Do That!" (Which makes no sense to me since that is what im trying to do.) or it says "Too many failed login attempts for this email. Please enter verification code." So I do that and it still doesnt work. It's very possible that your myspace has been hi-jacked..Someone could have gotten your password then changed it. This usually will happens when you, at some point, get redirected to another page that say's you need to RE-SIGN in although you were already signed in...All you need to do is go to your myspace page and click on forgot password...They will send an e-mail to your mail box. Next, change the password and you should be fine.....

I'm having the same problem. I can't get past the login page. UPDATE!! anyone still having this problem logging in(page just refreshes) I am still unable to log in the normal way(almost 5 days now). Download myspace IM and you will be able to log in through there and access all functions. Your last login will still stay stuck at the date you were having trouble, but at least it's a way in!. It is a "routine myspace maintenance" thing they're doing and "some users are temporarily unable to log in". Myspace knows about it and are "working on it" haha yeah right ;) anyway, keep emailing customer service and bug them anyway ;).

First, talk to your parents if you haven't already about the situation and then I would report him to your principal or school board because I know the district where I live prohibits teachers from creating myspace accounts and interacting with students on such services. His actions are inappropriate and need to be acted upon. If you still have the message he sent you, save it and show your parents. He is trying to black mail you with something with threatening to tell your parents, and that's not allowed. What would he tell them anyway, that their daughter didn't add him to her top friends? Because you have wide pictures on it. And comments too. You can always hide your comments and get a comment box. But most likely, if you shrink the pictures, or align them with a code, it should work. You have to use %26lt; br %26gt; without spaces after every picture or quiz or whatever, so it goes right under, instead of side by side causing it to be too wide.

You could also google "myspace scroll boxes" and you can put content in those which would make more room on your page.

This is my new standard format response for myspace users. First, if you had spent more time studying while you were in school, you wouldn閳ユ獩 have to ask questions about myspace. If you spent more time on your homework and less worrying about why so-and-so has more 閳ユ笅nternet friends閳?you might be less concerned with the proxy server bypass that will let you use your schools computer for non-school related activities. When you graduate and get a job so you can afford to buy a computer and pay for internet access I guarantee you myspace will be the least of your concerns. Until said time (if you graduate) quit wasting my tax money by studying myspace more than you study your grammar. Yes, it is my tax money that pays for your education. Chances of you being a prep-school/private school kid and not having one-on-one supervision while you update your myspace is about 4 million to 1. If it really is that important that you have to access it during school hours, why even go to school? Ask mommy and daddy if you can stay home tomorrow and flirt with child predators online. I am sure they won閳ユ獩 mind. Lastly, if this standard format response does not apply to your particular myspace question, oh well, I guess I won閳ユ獩 have you on my top five list, huh?

well sometimes when it goes to that other sign in thing (not the main myspace.com sign in- the one that's white) well sometimes those are hackers trying to get your password. So when that happens just go back to the home page of myspace and sign back in that way.

in the "member login" box click on "forgot your password" then all you have to do is type in your email and your password will get to your email address

ANYTIME YOU CLICK ON A PROFILE ,BULLETINE,OR ANYTHING ON MYSPACE THAT ASK FOR YOU TO SIGN BACK IN ,YOU ARE BEING HACKED.

CHECK YOUR PROFILE PAGE ,IF THERES ANYTHING THERE THAT YOU DIDN'T PUT THERE ,JUST DELETE IT ,AND YOUR PAGE SHOULD BE BACK TO NORMAL.
